Seven Blind Mice (Reading Railroad) - Ed Young Seven blind and colorful mice come upon Something strange. Each day, beginning on Monday, one of the mice explores the Something to discover its identity. Each mouse explores one part of the Something reporting back what the notice and guessing what they think it could be. The last mouse (white, combination of all colors) combines all of the information and realizes what the Something is. Surprised at first that the colors didn't follow ROYGBV, then a classmate mentioned that the colors are complementary/opposite on the color wheel.
SLJ review mentions that this is an adaptation of Indian folktale "The Six Blind Men and The Elephant."
